Purulia Protigya Foundation

The Purulia Protigya Foundation is a charitable non-profit organizations located in Purulia, West Bengal. The organization was informally started in 2016 by a small group of high school students with a strong passion for changing today’s society and building a better one for tomorrow. They raised funds by saving two rupees from the money they would bring for purchasing their tiffin.  Since then, the organization has grown and  our dedicated volunteers serve the society by providing various essential services to those who need the most. Our volunteers promises a better future to the most vulnerable classes of people.  Some of our projects include educating poor children in “Hatekhori Pathshala”, providing health care, raising the living conditions in a sustainable manner for some remote Shabar tribal villages in Purulia, providing medical help to elderly people and organizing blood donation camps.   We strongly believe that our holistic approach to community development will bring a better future for the most neglected class of our society.
